If you have an electrical project of any size I would highly recommend Pete and his team. Communication the most important aspect to any project and Pete is ontop of his game. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls and let me know every step along the way of upgrading electrical service and installing standby generator. You can tell by talking to him and his guys that they are passionate about their craft and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth. Even when some unforeseen problems popped up they have the experience and know how to navigate them and get the job done right! Used Ferrer’s Electric for a kitchen remodel, based on recommendations on local Facebook groups. Work involved moving appliance feeds, new/rework on lighting, few new circuits, cabinet lights, etc. Pete worked with my budget, provided good options and estimates. Kept in constant contact for suggestions on items to use and scheduling around my work and other contractors, quick to respond to emails and provide much more info than expected. The same crew did the detailed estimate, and 2 rounds of work for rough-in and final. Friendly guys, confirming what they were doing, always hustling along! There is a good reason why Ferrer’s has a 5 star rating. I needed my service mast replaced after a fallen tree ripped it off of my house the Friday night before a holiday weekend. Pete quickly responded to my email and even provided a quote based on a few pictures I sent him. He was able to get me on the schedule and sent Mike out to make the repairs. Mike was very professional and did great quality work even quicker than he estimated. By midday Tuesday everything was back in working order and better than before. I will definitely be going to Ferrer’s next time I need an electrician.

Ferrer’s Electric was the best choice I made after we bought our house. They were responsive and very helpful with all of my planning and part choices. We own a large home in CT that has unfortunately fallen victim to several lightning strikes. The problems we most recently had were complex, and the electrician who wired the home when it was built new in 2015 couldn’t figure out the issue in two attempts. Finally I connected with Ferrer’s. I cannot begin to describe how appreciative I am, first and foremost, of their communication style. Thorough, frequent, timely. That makes a huge difference as we live busy lives and I’m frankly exasperated at having to chase down vendors. Ferrer’s was a pleasure to work with. Then, there is the expertise. These guys came as planned, on time, and within a few hours were able to diagnose the problem. They scheduled a follow-up for the actual repair work, and the crews showed up promptly and on time, and spent an entire day (including in the rain) digging a trench to lay down new wire to bypass the lightning-fried/shorted wires, and so much more. I almost never take the time to write reviews, but this is first class business in a first class way and we cannot thank Pete and his crews enough. This problem has been around for 9 months and finally Ferrer’s came to our rescue. Let there be light!

We moved from Westchester County to Southbury a couple months ago. Completely anxious about moving and getting our expensive electronics up and installed again seemed like a nightmare. And it was!!! I called Ferrer’s Electric based on their great online review. They did not disappoint. Pete and his guys Mike and Adam did a great job coming in and installing our surround sound and wiring up our electronics including mounting multiple TVs very cleanly with all the wiring behind the walls. They were careful in handling all the details without rushing through the process for the sake of getting the job done. The project took longer than we expected only because they were being thorough and in the end everything was meticulously done to our satisfaction. Pete is very responsive and he is definitely my GO TO GUY from here on out for all and any electrical work in my house. I highly recommend Ferrer’s Electric for all electrical services. I have used Pete and his team for many projects including, generator procurement and install, electric car charger install, shed light install (and trenching), and many light fixture installs. They are always responsive, professional and often make suggestions that I had not considered. The horse barn looks fantastic with the new lighting and safety improvements. It is so nice to be able to see the whole area in front of the stalls. Since each of the stalls are so bright it will be exceptionally useful for the farrier and training.
We appreciate that Mike and Adam? were on time, cleaned up all of the excesses, and explained how everything worked. They even had to put up with Buckwheat the Donkey as he would nibble and harass them daily!

Ferrer’s Electric and owner Pedro/Pete are phenomenal! My husband and I needed to have our recently purchased garage hooked to power as well as adding workspace lighting in our basement and running a line for a doorbell. Pete responded to my initial email promptly, made some suggestions and then came to visit my home. He listened to what we wanted which is so rare and then gave us his expert advice, a detailed quote and multiple options, including ways we could save some money by doing prep work ourselves which was truly appreciated. We chose him to do the work from all bidders because of his patience, attention to detail and responsiveness. I highly recommend Ferrrer’s Electric. I have know Pete for several years and he has completed work on several of my properties over those years. Everything from outside lighting, minor electrical repairs, upgrading panel service, replacing old knob and tube wiring and installing various lighting throughout the house. I wrote Ferrer’s and other electricians about installing the wiring for a portable generator. I decided to go with another company because my neighbor had previously used the other company and had good things to say. Even when Ferrer’s knew they were not getting my business, they still answered my questions about generators. When they realized I was new to hiring contractors (my husband always did it before) they went out of their way to email me suggestions on how to hire (i.e. questions I should be asking) and work with contractors.
